Crisis’ WILLOW Project (Welfare Influencing and Lobbying: Learning Opportunities and Work) is a national programme that is investigating how the Government’s welfare to work strategies are either helping or hindering vulnerable people into employment and/or training. Yorkshire and the Humber Forum is organising a conference - 'Big Society Unplugged' - in Sheffield on 11 November, at which Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society, will be the key speaker. We need your input to produce a Big Manifesto for the Big Society, to present to the Minister at the conference. We are holding a consultation session in Leeds on 6 September when you will be able to input ideas, opinions, suggestions, and concerns about the Big Society, and learn more about how the Forum is engaging with it.
