English Heritage have commissioned a study team, lead by Drivers Jonas LLP, to provide evidence to underpin the economic role of heritage in the Yorkshire and Humber Region. The study will principally be used in the forthcoming preparation of the Yorkshire and Humber Strategy.
Many structures on English Heritage's Buildings At Risk Register have been brought back into sustainable use thanks to grants from English Heritage and other partners. The document below details three particularly successful projects: Bolton Percy Gatehouse, Whitby Old Brewhouse and the Estate Yard at Nostell Priory.
