Heritage Counts is an annual survey on the state of the historic environment. It collects data and information on funding, participation and the number and type of listed buildings. It also summarises the key policy developments in each year.
This report is one of nine regional reports and has been prepared by English Heritage on behalf of the Yorkshire and the Humber Heritage Forum.
From 2009, readers of Heritage Counts will be able to download the full indicator set for the Yorkshire and the Humber as well as maps outlining listed and registered assets in the region. This data is held on the official Heritage Counts website.
