Free workshops around the region providing practical and useful information on how groups can engage with Parliament.
Many people may not find the work of Parliament interesting, or have negative views on it, but the laws made and issues debated there have a significant impact on communities around the country. The workshop will demonstrate how to engage with Parliamentary processes to raise vital issues and make your opinions known.
It will cover:
Inside Parliament will be facilitated by the Parliamentary Outreach Service, which raises awareness of the work and role of Parliament and is non partisan.
The workshop is for any community group, support organisation, stakeholder or active member of the community. It is suitable for people with varying levels of knowledge and will include a mixture of presentation, discussion and group activity.
The event will start with lunch and an opportunity to meet and talk from 12.00-1.00.
